In accordance with Article 7 of the Rulebook on the distribution of funds for print media and online publications ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", no. 125/2021 and 89/2023), the Ministry of Culture and Media announces:
PUBLIC CALL
for the election of two members of the Independent Commission for the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily and weekly print media and online publications
The Ministry of Culture and Media invites all interested persons to apply to become members of the Independent Commission for the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily, weekly print media and online publications.
The expressions used in this Public Call for natural persons in the masculine gender imply the same expressions in the feminine gender.
Members of the Independent Commission cannot be persons whoin
- owners of shares, shareholders, members of management bodies, employees, persons under contract, etc., who have an interest in legal entities engaged in the production, broadcasting and/or distribution of media content (printed, audiovisual, internet publications);
- persons who are spouses of the persons mentioned in point 1 or are related to them by blood in the direct line, regardless of the degree of kinship, and in the collateral line up to the second degree of kinship; and
- persons who have been appointed twice consecutively as members of the Independent Commission.
Persons who have can apply for the public call
- VII1 level of educational qualifications and five years of work experience in the field of media;
- Montenegrin citizenship and residence in Montenegro.
Required documentation
- diploma or certificate of completed VII1 level of education qualification; (certified copy or original);
- proof of required work experience in the field of media (five years); (certified copy or original) and
- a certificate of Montenegrin citizenship and residence in Montenegro or a certified photocopy of a biometric ID card.
The deadline for submission of members' applications is 10 days from the date of publication of the Public Call on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Media, ending with Monday 27 November 2023. year.

The Ministry of Culture and Media will, within seven days from the expiration of the deadline for submitting applications for the selection of members in the Independent Commission, on its website https://www.gov.me/cyr/mku and on the e-Government portal https://www.euprava.me/eparticipacijepublish a list of registered candidates who meet the prescribed conditions.
In addition to the above, the Ministry also publishes a list of registered candidates who submitted untimely and incomplete applications.
The Minister of Culture and Media will, with the decision on the formation of the Independent Commission, select members who meet the prescribed conditions and publish the decision on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Media.
In the event that several registered candidates meet the conditions for the selection of members of the Independent Commission provided for in the text of the Public Call, the selection of the members of the Independent Commission shall be made by the Minister of Culture and Media.
