In accordance with Article 8 of the Rulebook on the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily, weekly and periodical print media and online publications ("Official Gazette of Montenegro", number 115/24), the Ministry of Culture and Media announces:
PUBLIC CALL
for the election of two members of the Independent Commission for the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily, weekly and periodical print media and online publications
The Ministry of Culture and Media invites all interested persons to apply to become members of the Independent Commission for the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily, weekly and periodical print media and online publications.
The expressions used in this Public Call for natural persons in the masculine gender imply the same expressions in the feminine gender.
Members of the Independent Commission cannot be persons who are:
- owners of shares, shareholders, members of management bodies, members of supervisory bodies, persons employed or otherwise engaged, as well as persons who have a legal interest in legal entities engaged in the production, broadcasting and/or distribution of media content (printed media, linear audiovisual media services and online publications);
- associated with persons from point 1:
- as members of the immediate family (parents, children, brothers and sisters, adoptive parents and adoptees);
- by marriage, common-law union or life partnership of persons of the same sex;
- by in-laws, as members of the immediate family of a spouse or life partner of a person of the same sex;
- elected as a member of the Independent Commission twice consecutively.
Persons who have the following can apply for the public call
- VII1 level of educational qualifications and five years of work experience in the field of media;
- Montenegrin citizenship and residence in Montenegro.
Required documentation:
- diploma or certificate of completed VII1 level of education qualification;
- proof of required work experience in the field of media (five years); and
- certificate of Montenegrin citizenship and residence in Montenegro.
The deadline for submission of members' applications is 7 days from the date of publication of the Public Call on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Media and will last until 10.12. in 2024.

"Application for the public call for the election of two members of the Independent Commission for the distribution of funds from the sub-fund for daily, weekly and periodical print media and online publications".
The Ministry of Culture and Media will, within seven days from the expiration of the deadline for submitting applications for members of the Working Body, on its website https://www.gov.me/mkupublish a list of registered candidates.
In addition to the above, the Ministry also publishes a list of registered candidates who submitted untimely and incomplete applications.
The Minister of Culture and Media will, with the decision on the formation of the Independent Commission, select members who meet the prescribed conditions and publish the decision on the website of the Ministry of Culture and Media.
In the event that several applicants meet the same conditions, the selection of members of the Independent Commission is made by the Minister of Culture and Media.
